What You'll Do
Quality Assurance & Testing
- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for new features and product enhancements.
- Perform manual and automated testing to ensure product quality and stability.
- Develop and maintain automated test suites using tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or similar frameworks.
- Execute regression testing prior to releases to identify and prevent unintended issues.
- Issue Identification & Resolution
- Investigate, document, and track software defects through resolution.
- Collaborate with developers to reproduce issues and validate fixes.
- Ensure clear and thorough documentation of testing outcomes and identified bugs.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with engineering and product teams to understand requirements and provide quality-focused feedback throughout the development lifecycle.
- Participate in discussions around product improvements, testing strategies, and release readiness.
Release & Platform Reliability
- Validate builds and deployments within CI/CD environments.
- Monitor staging environments and identify potential issues before production releases.
- Support performance and load testing initiatives to help ensure system scalability and reliability.
- Customer Support Escalations
- Serve as a technical resource for escalated customer issues.
- Partner with the support team to troubleshoot, reproduce, and investigate reported problems.
- Escalate confirmed product issues to engineering and assist with resolution tracking.
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
- 0–1+ years of professional experience in software development, software testing, quality assurance, or a related field.
- Experience creating and maintaining automated tests using tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or similar frameworks.
- Understanding of Test-Driven Development (TDD) principles and testing best practices.
- Familiarity with Git and version control workflows.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to write clear technical documentation and maintain organized records of testing activities.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify edge cases and diverse user scenarios.
