Developing systems for clients as needed including: USSDAuto Automating a system that doesn't have APIs but only has USSD access for buying mobile airtime as well as sending money. This necessitated building a mobile application to run as a "mobile" server and to execute USSD commands automatically sent from a server as well as send back responses to the server including any relevant SMS received on the device. The mobile application was developed in Java. The main server and APIs were built in java. Admin frontend was built using Angular and Mysql was used for the database. Mango A savings and Loan mobile application. I was part of a 2 person team that designed and developed this mobile application that allowed people to come together, form groups, contribute their money and give loans out as well as access things like insurance and money market funds where they could put to good use the money they had saved. Used Kotlin for the Android Application. Used Mysql for the database. Used CodeIgniter, Javascript and Bootstrap for the Admin Backend and Java for the API.
